SOCIAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: COMMUNITY COOKING (2018)

Work with our client Caritas, by Evelina Lundqvist.

Community Cooking is a Caritas Vienna initiative. It's an international meeting point for people living in the communities surrounding the old Anker bread factory.

Our task was to help develop social business ideas revolving around cooking together, which could be offered to companies in order to find ways of co-financing the charitable community cooking activities. We facilitated the social business development process, gathered business intelligence, innovated new services and created a marketing strategy. The process was truly participatory, including employees across several Caritas' branches.

Visit Community Cooking on Facebook and partcipate in one of their open cooking events held every Tuesday in the Brotfabrik in Vienna.

REPORT: BOOSTING EXPORT AMONG CREATIVE AND CULTURAL BUSINESSES IN JÄMTLAND HÄRJEDALEN (2017)

Work with our clients the City of Östersund and the County of Jämtland Härjedalen, by Evelina Lundqvist.

Our task was to evaluate and analyse the needs of local businesses in the cultural and creative industries to internationalise and export products and services. We conducted research, interview with key stakeholders, created and distributed an online service which 80 local business, NGOs and other organisations filled out, analysed the materials, and authored the report. The report has since been distributed and presented by Evelina and the client in different regional and national fora.

STOPPA RYKTET (2017)

Stoppa ryket! (Stop the rumour!) was based on the experience gained through Botkyrka municipality’s work with the Antirumours campaign in 2014 and 2015. In 2017, the initiative entered a new phase, in which The Good Tribe was commissioned to develop the initiative on behalf of the municipality. Stoppa ryket! is directly linked to Botkyrka municipality’s efforts to reach the goals of their equality strategy.

Our task was to develop the initiative, organise Antitumour Cafés and write the method handbook Stoppa ryktet!, which NGOs and citizens employ in their work for a society free of prejudice and xenophobia.

On the team: Evelina Lundqvist, Josefin Branzell Hertz, Caroline Rhawi and Nohadra Heido.
